Memorial Day Weekend Open House & New Releases!
Hello and Welcome,
Remember when a three day weekend was the most exciting thing ever? Let loose on the world for three whole days without any cares or responsibilities! And as the Irish would say, you can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning. Or was that Dean Martin and the Rat Pack?
Please join Dena and Ernie for our Memorial Day Weekend Open House! We will be open by appointment starting Saturday morning May 25th through Monday afternoon May 27th. Appointments are available beginning at 10 am each morning through 3 pm each afternoon. And Saturday is National Wine Day - be a part of it!
Our focus for this weekend is refreshing white wines for spring and summer sipping. Our new release Bellpine Pearl Rosé is a blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Not something you see every day, kind of like daylight while in Las Vegas.
The Memorial Day Weekend tasting program includes the following 6 wines:
2022 Book Club White – The blend is from those two highly aromatic varieties Gewürztraminer and Viognier. SPOILER ALERT! The 2022 vintage is coming out in a national publication with a 93 point review and a Best Buy! At this point we can’t say which one, of course.
2023 Our Muse Viognier – New Release! Once again, Our Muse has wildly expressive tropical aromatics followed by a full showing of palate intrigue. Refreshingly clean and crisp with a much more than capable finish.
2023 Bellpine Pearl Rosé – New Release! Our most interesting Rosé is a blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Fermented in stainless steel to accentuate the fine aromatics and fermented dry to accentuate the palate cleansing acidity. We know, if only there were bubbles…
2022 Pinot Meunier – The quintessential spring and summer red wine. Equally pleasing at cellar temperature or with a slight chill, Pinot Meunier is our “go to” red for the charcuterie board or anything associated with Duck Confit.
2013 iPinot Pinot Noir – Standing the test of time, the 2013 iPinot delivers on the promise of the vintage. Acid and tannin are the key structural components of a long-lived wine. The 2013 vintage provided acidity and our whole cluster fermentation added the tannins. In a word, sublime.
2021 Heirloom Cameo (BFC) – New Release! After skipping a smoke tainted vintage, our Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is back! We ferment a single, new barrel of Chardonnay each year. The wine then ages on the spent yeast lees for about 14 months imparting texture back into the wine. Once the wine is bottled and tucked into the cellar, we sell the barrel. Each vintage gets a new barrel.
Please request a tasting appointment with your preferred day and time and Dena will confirm your appointment.
If your plans have you somewhere other than here for the holiday weekend, the Big Blue Button can co-locate your wines with YOU. For A-List members who cannot make it to the winery this weekend, Dena will reach out to coordinate your shipment with you.
We suggest a UPS or FedEx drop point to allow you to pick up your wine at your leisure. It's better on the A-List. A-List members receive a 10% discount on any 1-11 bottle purchase, a 20% discount on a 12-bottle case purchase, and domestic ground shipping is always included with a case. Please email Dena for shipping options to Alaska and Hawaii.
Kindest Regards,
Dena & Ernie
